I like the base model SE and the GLT SE is a good choice too. That one looks nice from what we can see, just wrong color for abscate!

How do I tell the difference between Base and GLT? I have no idea what my 96 is.

The GLT will have a badge below the right taillight. Pretty much the only difference.

I have 1/2 of that..... no factory roof leak, and no trip computer.

In Canada the base had a 10V motor and the GLT a 20V up to and including 96. 97 GLT went to a turbo. We had a 97 850 SE base and it had the 20V motor.

Thought I would be addressing a little rust cleanup...

Unbolted the center support bearing, then the four bracket bolts...

And this piece fell on floor.
Everything else under the car looks age appropriate, it's just the few AWD only bits that seem to have been poorly
prepped/painted.

Decided to do some much needed maintenance to the xc90. This is her 2nd oil change from me at 6400mi. I intended to chage at 5,000 but life gets in the way sometimes. So I was only able to drain 3.5 qrts on a slight incline :shock: . The oil was quite dark. The next one will definitely be less than 5,000 mi. I changed the spark plugs and discovered all NGK plugs were installed with plenty of grease on the threads. Someone has been here. The ignition coils have no branding on them but look to be in good shape. Are these volvo? Or some other aftermarket brand?
