4:00am didnt help, but walking around the garage did
The car pops and run like shit for a second then stalls again. I replaced the cam seal behind the distributor, and looking at the rotor plate from the other engine it seems possible to install it 180° off that wouldn't help

Weather isnt on my side, it was 90°F on saturday and 54° and rainy on sunday !

I enjoyed 102F today. Just got my garage AC working yesterday and installed garage door insulation panel today. Its keeping my garage at 75F all day.

I like all that insulation you are adding to the garage doors. Looks really neatly done!

Although I have insulated doors, it may be worth considering adding that insulation for our winters. Mind you, the bigger issue is getting the seals to work around the doors in strong winds from the west. It just blows the doors back from them.

Do the panels add a lot of weight to the doors?

“Garage A/C” is a new one on me! But I’ll admit in the summer I need some fans blowing!

Today I hunted some gremlins on the yellow one.

• New vacuum lines around the turbo.

• Off with the plate and back with the oem BOV.

• Swapped the turbo inlet pipe to one with an intact PCV nipple. (the small one was broken on the old inlet)

Hopefully I'll get some results, gonna test drive tomorrow. Boost is down a few PSI and I get oil-smoke in random left hand turns.

They are really lightweight Styrofoam panels with a plastic sheet on one side. Honestly they all weigh just a few pounds together.

Check out these special tracks that push the door against the frame. I wish i had these.

I went with a mini split 18,000BTU unit for a 3 bay garage. I installed it myself as it comes with the 410a pre charged. I would probably just hire someone next time. But you only need a 3 inch hole to run lines through vs a window unit needs a much larger opening. I just refuse to open the door unless I need to move something too large to move through the house.

Nice! I bet it’s nice and comfortable in there now! The weather was nice here today, but we’re getting close to 100 again for the rest of the week. It makes the garage miserable.
