Didn’t I just turn 200k on my T5? Just hit the 206500 mile oil change rolling BOS NYC and PHL

Went out to finish oil change and ended up

Oil change and filter
Removed the biscuit oil cooler and changed two gaskets
Dropped the front pan and changed out lower intercooler hose...nasty job, very tight om AC line

Then

Replaced transfer case gear on SWMBOs X3
Pumped down on the X3 AC and recharged system

Diagnosed fault code on the P2 as an ABS power fault code

Grabbed a couple goodies from the junkyard today... like-new corner light for the GLT, newer used set of genuine spark plug wires also for the GLT, driver’s seat trim for the R, and a like-new ECU cooling hose for the R... all for $7! One of the local junkyards was having a sale today, and since I was bringing a load to the scrap metal place right down the street from there I figured I’d check out this yard since I hadn’t ever been there. Glad I did!

I was the Prime fool struggling underneath the deck, trying to fit the inter cooler hose, with water running down by neck from the afternoon squall.

That's amazing! I've got to move the family closer to an awesome junkyard in order to keep the V70s running!

I was shocked when she told me my total! They had a special Facebook promotion for 50% off. They only had 3 P80s (2 S70s and a V70XC) though. I really wish their inventory was better, but you can't beat the sale prices.
They also have those $60 all you can carry sales. I'll have to check out the next one.

Replaced 4 year old (~40K) Empi passenger CV axle with an FEQ assembly. Pronounced side-to-side wobble during acceleration from about 25-40 MPH completely eliminated.

Also tightened a sway bar link that was loose and making a racket.

Where is this awesome junkyard?

That's better than many of the junkyards around here (NJ/NYC)! The last time I went to junkyard, they didn't have any P80 vehicles at all. I'm still on the hunt for seatbelt latches and black armrest!

It's Don's Pick-N-Save in Monroe, NC. I usually go to Pull-a-Part in Charlotte, they usually have a really good Volvo inventory. Their prices aren't as good as Don's when they have a sale, but their prices are pretty good overall.
