Like most things in life, moderation is the key.
So with that in mind, I have cut my " collection " down from 8 to 6 ( inc 1 parts ) :)
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.

The total number of pop up headlight cars decreases every day. Every morning you wake up there are two or ten fewer than the previous morning.

I owned a pop up headlight car, and the feeling of hitting a switch and those things rolling around and out, and illuminating, is just one of those wonderful little automotive feelings you can’t describe to people who aren’t car people.

They can’t be produced (since 2000?), by law.

Even gold and diamonds can’t claim that distinction, because more of those is mined every day.

I think this car is pretty, as is its Nissan counterpart the 1st gen 200SX (also with pop ups).

I remember when the electric motors on my pop-up headlights didn't work on my first car I ever owned, a 1986 Firebird, and they still had a way to manually adjust them to be in the up position so the headlights could still be used.

I remember my roommates Fiat X1/9 headlight limit switch failed so the lights would cycle. Tony the mechanic tried to fix them by leaning on one to stop. That made them cycle out of phase which looked ridiculous

I love the concept of hidden headlights. Why expose your lamps to the elements except when using them.

Remember the big LINCOLN with the vacuum operated headlight doors? I bet June does.
