Replaced the blower fan controller today, broke a few years after I replaced the motor.
I'll try to fix the old one though, once the mosfets from aliexpress get here.

That takes some guts :-)

Hope it works out for you.

Digikey and Mouser have a lot of parts too and good shipping cost usually (depends where you live though i guess).
I’ve been driving a Volvo long before anyone ever paid me to drive one.
That's probably because I've been driving one since 2015 and nobody has offered to pay me yet.

1998 v70 base non turbo (after $2800 worth of recent repairs)

Hello again,

I went out at night for the first time in months since i could not drive at night for a long time because of the cataracts. Now that that is fixed, i can drive at night although i probably wont need too really.
So i went out to start the car and take the garbage out, and i turned on the headlights and noticed the area in front of the car lit up pretty nice. I thought the headlights needed adjustment but that was just the cataracts it seems. While trying to adjust the headlights the adjustment nut broke on one of the headlights so that killed that idea right away. Apparently though they dont need adjustment so i guess it's ok now even with the nut mechanism broken off. I was going to drive around the block but i can see that the area in front of the car is very visible now even at nighttime, so i'll save it for a time when i really have to go out at night.

I’ve got lots of spares of adjusters, but it’s a headlight removal to get these in. Not too bad, three 10mm m6 bolts, as long as they don’t seize .

Yes, Volvo pays me $2900 per month to drive a 1998 v70 base.

Ha ha, just kidding, it's a tongue-in-cheek statement.
The catch is this:
I have been driving one long before anyone ever paid me to drive one (about 7 years now), partly due to the fact that nobody paid me yet. So i have been driving one LONG before anyone ever paid me to drive one ha ha ha :-)
Of course i got that from the Lincoln commercials with Matthew McConaughey which were kind of funny, although i did like that movie "Lincoln Lawyer" where he played a lawyer that worked out of his Lincoln Town car.

I thought that i should have gotten paid to drive my old Hyundai which was 25 years old when i had to get rid of it. It's good advertising for a car manufacturer to have people still driving their cars even though they got very old as it is a testament to their durability. Volvo probably doesnt have to pay anyone though because there seems to be a lot of people who still drive old Volvos. My v70 will be 25 years old and thus considered an antique in New Jersey on January 1st 2023. It's too bad there are too many restrictions though on what you can use the car for if you register it as an antique in NJ and get antique plates. You dont have to take it to inspection anymore when you do that.
