Question- What do you do when there oil all over the top of your engine and you can't find any leak?

Answer - tighten your loose oil filler cap.

Cleaned the MAF - did it the lazy man's way of just spraying in at all angles from the air cleaner side. Let it dry, hard crank, it fired up and has been running better than ever since.

From what I understand, there is no difference between auto and manual ETMs. I plugged it in and it turned on like it should have. Didn't open and close with the gas pedal (I believe it's supposed to, but my current one doesn't either from what I can hear), but it turned on and off like it's supposed to. Will it work?
Both white label, and what's left of the part number (2 numbers, rest was rubbed off) it matches the current ETM.

There are rookie mistakes and expert mistakes. Unfortunately we more experienced DIYers make these "expert mistakes" every now and again.
Bonus tip... if you have '99+ with a misfire on multiple cylinders, make sure your coil wires are plugged into the right coils. But you'd have to be an IDIOT to make THAT mistake... :?
Would that be the one your 19t and blues, plus downpipe and intercooler came from?

1998 POS70 N/A: DD/training aid, 236k but really about 240k, I think...ABS module( passed on to son who sold it)

I replaced a fuel cell on my 850 sedan, it had a crack where the bolt and rubber bushing holding the skid plate mounts.

Changed out my shredded steering rack boot. What's weird is that there was a hose that came off the rack and plugged into a hole on the boot. My replacement boot didn't have that. (It's a replacement rack.)

The inner tie rod looked quite messy but didn't have any weird play.

Productive day yesterday... met a local Volvo enthusiast with an awesome 855R who sold me a full M56 swap for my R and threw in a cylinder head and a set of Columbas. The Columbas are a little worn out, but I won't complain. The tires (with the exception of a bubble in one) are better than the worn out Kumhos on my GLT's Antlias!
Also got my order from FCP finally and they left out a distributor seal for my 740. Their service has been pretty disappointing lately, and it's a real shame. They've been my favorite parts source for the past 3 years now.
Anyway, I'm hoping to take care of the hall sensor today on the 740 and get that car running finally. I've had it for over a month now and it's still not running. Unacceptable in my book!

I missed that the 740 series is a stick? Is that right?

I've gotten a wrong part from FCP in recent months. But I didn't notice for a few months after ordering it and they were super accommodating about the replacement, which I appreciated.

My experience buying Mercedes parts from them has been less good than buying Volvo parts. They've got a great selection of suppliers for Volvo stuff, but for the Mercedes my preference is AutohausAZ and Rock Auto.

Yup, M46 4 speed with overdrive.
Damn thing still won't start. It has to be the harness for the hall sensor. This car is really pissing me off now...

Yeah, same goes for Saab parts. There inventory is really lacking for Saab. Volvo and BMW seem to be the best parts to buy from them. eEuroparts on the other hand seems to specialize in Saab.
