Chuck, check the engine mount and torque mounts while in there. They are often the reason for the radiator failing in that area.

They were all replaced when I did the manual swap a couple years back, so I doubt that's the case. I think it's just an old radiator.

Fair enough, but worth asking. All my radiators failed on the RHS seam between the aluminum fins and the plastic end caps and below the top hose connection.

If you used Volvo OE mounts then you should be ok. Anything else who knows these days?

Yeah, they were Volvo OE.

This car has also killed a deer and a Prius, (Which is what eventually led to the XC nose swap), so I'm surprised the radiator hasn't started leaking before now.

Found why the top of the rocker cover was getting filled with oil a lot faster than usual, despite a good gasket on the filler cap. Operator error

You need a really slim hose clamp to get a good hold on that hose. Pretty bad location for that!

I've checked all brakes, disassembled everything, cleaned and rebuilt them. I've discovered a leak under the gearbox.
