Hi there!

Thought I'd join in the fun and buy my first ovloV, 1994 850 GLT(E) Wagon. Been wanting one for years, but someone has always talked me out of it.
Bought this to be my tow vehicle for my drift car. So far really enjoying it I've owned it for a week now.
Can't wait to start modding. Already starting to think about doing a rear turbo setup.

Walked out of my house and saw the sun light and just had to take a pic. Pretty good for a phone camera, eh?

I'll post a few of current and of time past...

Current wagon, '95 T-5R, named Panther, it's all stock and currently has 196,800 on the dash. K&N box air filter, full synthetic oil.





Daughters '98 S70 GLT, named Lil' Red, has about 156,000 on it. All stock running full synthetic.





Here is the yellow sedan I had. It was named "My Precious".





I put Volans on it right before I sold it.

Pictures of a '98 S90 that I paid $500. It has a bad water pump and a few other small things wrong with it.

A picture of '79 262C Bertone I had. Sold it for $138 to a guy. Yes it was running. Just had a slow tranny leak that I had driven with for about 18 months.



Last but not least the Volvo junk yard that I use to have at my finger tips. It was about 34 miles from me but the guy retired.

Here is the Breadbox, my '89 740, in Downtown Baltimore, 2010. She's my daily driver, even with something close to 350,000 miles on her she goes between Baltimore and DC 5 days a week.


An interior shot, last summer, after I put the wood tone vinyl on the black strip above the glovebox.


Towing our Dutchmen pop-up, in Gettysburg National Battlefield, last fall. It tows the trailer really nice with the ipd springs and sways.


This is Elphie, my wife's 1998 V70 AWD.


This was along Skyline Drive, summer 2010.


A far cry from December, 2009, when this happened.

Believe it or not, it was all cosmetic. I got a new hood, fender and front bumper from the junkyard along with lights and some of the plastic under the hood and kept her from being totalled. I even got the fog lights and a spoiler from one of the donor vehicles.

This is Gloria, our 1993 240. She's not a Classic, but she's got the factory 414 Ruby Red Metallic paint that came with them, and Omega 15" wheels that somebody added sometime in the past. This is the first time we saw her and decided that we needed another Volvo to replace the old Toyota I had just been forced to get rid of.


This is the best picture I have of her so far. She's currently on loan to a friend who needs a car and has been in another small accident that will need to be repaired before I do any good pictures.

Side markers and rear mudflaps from a 99 AWD

Volans (currently rocking steelies w/studded snows).

IPD springs w/Bilstein TC's.

XC Grille and painted XC front bumper w/fogs.

Custom rattle can matte silver hood and aftermarket dents... er... "character marks".

Looks better in pictures than in person, but I love 'er.
