It was a very very biased gathering. It just depends on who shows up to our periodic gents coffees
Karman Ghia 'vert?
2005-ish 911
2015-ish 911 'vert
912?
912?
Spyder? Are they just called that?
C2 'Vette, mid/late 60s?

What a collection. Insurance agents driving past must have had heart attacks.

Very good!

1963 VW Karmann Ghia convertible in minty green with cream seats and contrast piping.
996 "broken egg" headlight 911 - your dates are probably right.
997 911 Cab, newer by a few years.
1959 356A coupe
1960 (I think) 356B coupe.
Replica of a Porsche 550A Spyder built by Vintage Motors in CA. It's really accurate - the interior is right on except it's fiberglass not aluminum. It has a tube frame with fiberglass shell, a modern VW engine with more power than a real one. He found this in CA on a work trip in October. He and his brother drove it back to Montana with no winter clothes, no top, on old tires. If this was a real car it would be in a museum, but he can just drive it wherever!
1965 Corvette 327 convertible.

Wow that Spyder is a convincing replica. I used to hitch a ride to high school with my good friend Christine in her 1968-ish MB (the English one, not Mercedes) that she rebuilt with her dad. She never put the top up, this was in Maryland and it gets cold/snow there in the winter. We'd have a blanket to cover the both of us, since the cab felt like it was two feet wide... you only need one blanket. It broke down often and had no heat, but the heat was up to OEM spec. It was just weak, useless.

Has maybe 40 hp, that car. But loads of fun.

I rode in the 550 once. Wow. Completely raw, very light, really quick, and the wind hits you just above your eyebrows - I think it's a leather helmet & goggles car.

yep. Red. She wouldn't park it in the student parking lot, loved it too much. Always curb on a nearby street.

Heater were usually rubbish on those. Some cars still had heaters as an option when they started making those!

Never liked MGB in either coupe or convertible versions. Never understood why they were so popular. Give me my 65 122S anytime or my 68 123GT. I guess it is a case of each to their own, but I have to say, the real positive is I'd say in the UK they were really part of the old car renovation and restoration business taking off. Them and the Morris Minor. Now we had a 1955 800cc version with split windshield and only about 25,000 miles on it when we took it in a trade. The proverbial 1 little old lady owner from new. My dad was stopped one day and a car salesman he knew saw the car and said he remembered selling the car new to the first owner!

I far rather drive the Morris Minor as it was fitted with a heater (pretty useless Smiths unit). Never stopped smiling when driving it. Eventually a neighbour and friend of my Dad's bought the car and restored to to new condition. It was beautiful! Unfortunately when my computer was upgraded I lost the pictures I took of the car when it was finished.

Wow. Hmm. I sure don’t know.

But it’s got some very Zagato-ish details and lines, it’s got a Zagato “double bubble” roof, and it has a tell-tale Z on the side!

But that doesn’t mean it’s Italian. Could be German with a snappy dress. Could be Eastern European…?

I’d guess mid-to late 50’s.

I think the rear badge says APPIA. So a Zagato work over of the Lancia Appia possibly? You go me on that as the rear wings I only ever say styling like that on the BAT cars of the mid-1950's, but those were concepts built by Pininfarina:
