An older fella turned me on to Free-All.
I’m pretty sure I was at that protest in the 60s….

Also been enjoying the added bump from the NA cam swap (and new valve seals). Need to mess with the tune a bit more, I suppose, but it has been running great with no changes since (and I've been busy with other projects).
Nice! Did you tune it yourself?

Nice! I want to do more reading into tuning. I want to redo the tune on my V70R, and I don't really trust any of the tuners around these days. Plus it ain't cheap.

I don't trust myself, either. :p haven't blown anything up (yet) in the past 15 years or so that I've been messing with tuning (MegaSquirt)

The ME7 stuff is a totally different beast. I haven't dug into what's needed to do that, but I know there is A LOT more involved vs the M4.3/M4.4 stuff.

Yeah, ME7 is a bit different, but a group of guys on FB have a good handle on it now. Like I said, I need to do a lot more reading before I get into it, but it doesn't look like anything too crazy.
After all I've seen recently on Volvo tuners, I don't think I would trust any of the established tuners. The tunes have been proven to be less than stellar, and the customer service is severely lacking. From the sounds of it, I could likely put together a tune just as good as some of these.

Still losing coolant a little bit, the second head gasket treatment seems to be working after my last debacle. However, when the things froze it may have damaged the water pump. I saw a decent amount of coolant by the waterpump however the cap was still pressurized when i opened the coolant cap. Not sure if its residue from earlier or actual leakage. Thinking back, only one half of the CV axel boot was wetted so its likely to have been a bad pour or coolant escaping from the cap?

I hit 408 k km so its time for another oil change soon. Have to schedule the exhaust manifold repair and the replacement of a steering arm (been tardy on this, tire starting to show uneven wear).

On the bright side, I tested the auxillaury lamps (hella 700 FF's) and they have a beautiful cutoff and seem like they will work well when mounted on the bumper. Ahck, projects for when i have time.

Dry it up and check again in a few days. It's very possible that it was spilled or released from the cap.

Also check the water pump weep hole. They can leak when cold or when cooling but seal again when running, especially in cold weather.

Does this count? Already had the dark green and the BCC 855 models. Today I bought the black 855 and dark red 245 drift models. I just placed them on top of my pc for show.
