...is a 1995 850 with a completely oxidized paint job. Depending on its mechanical durability, I may get it painted and make it a project car. I bought my first Volvo in 1973 in Austin, Texas for all of $175. It was a 1958 Duett, complete with a post running down the center windshield. Had a lot of great times in that car!

2004 S60R. I got this car 2 months ago tomorrow... LOVE IT. This is Volvo #16 for me. First was a 122 Amazon, had a few 140s, a bunch of 240s, a 740, and now this... several turbo cars, the 142e with the 2300 big bore kit was amazing, but this S60R is just the cream of the crop. Best Volvo Ever in my book (and I really loved the C70 I drove before buying this one) Take this running gear, put it in a C70 hardtop, BEST CAR EVER!

Here are my pics of the family fleet. Considering the age and kms, I think they come up alright. The 850 is my Mums and she has owned it since buying it off the showroom floor. Lots of good times in this car, and originally what got me into Volvo cars! I just need to put new headlight wipers on it and repaint the roof strips down the windscreen.

The C70 is mine and the guy that sold it to me took these pics. He had taken real good care of it. I since put the chrome boot badges back on... I'm not at all ashamed to let others know it's a Volvo

Very smart pair of cars, how the heck have you kept the engine bay as clean as that with over 400K on the clock?? It looks better now then when they were newly built - Mike

Silicone spray is your friend

That way, when you degrease it, the original rubber, plastic etc. has been preserved. The only problem is that it gets real dirty real quick

Here are a couple of pictures I took this morning. Yesterday I washed it up and detailed it with some Premium EZ Detailer in a can. It has Carnauba in it.

I also treated the bumpers and trim with Forever Black.
