A stock, well-done ‘53 Chevy with the club cab windows is just perfection. These companies are trying way too hard to make it into something it’s not, like the ridiculous Broncos going for hyperbucks.

Well, that exceptional 122 wagon went for $19,250 after a last minute bidding battle.
Not so bad for a car like that I don’t think. I feel like I’ve seen one in the high 20’s, but people tell me collectible prices have softened. I don’t think you could restore one for that.

So if that's a Corvette rear end, did they swap out the transverse leaf spring for coilovers? There's a single trailing arm, and a flimsy looking lower control arm (unless that's a rear toe link). So then, is the driveshaft with U-joints a lateral link for sideways loads?? There would be pretty big loads on a modern Corvette.foggydogg wrote: ↑08 Feb 2025, 07:55

I'm not understanding what restrains the hub from left-right-left / vertical rotation, unless that trailing arm is really rigid like on an old 911.
