HELLO it feels like its been ages. How is everyone doing? Abscate you joker munchkin, keeping up the punch lines?

Anyway a while back I told yall I found a 760 with burgundy leather seats. Took out the two front 14mm bolts, but my assessment overwhelmed me and I left the seat there. But today I got it to put into my v70. After leaving the Subaru dealer for the recalls on my brother's car, I went back and took a good look. I was patient (except some shoving on the seat) and removed the seat itself without removing the tracks. The two back screws were inaccessible. I removed the 4 12mm holding the seat to the track frame and the 4 T40 (technically #6 allen) up/down sliding screws.

That's a tossup... there's a lot of stuff in the trunk that I have yet to go through, including a large Papa Smurf plush. It also reeks of mold, so I've been waiting for a dry day when I have nothing better to do so I can clean it out and see what's in there.

OOOOH! That sounds like a treasure hunt. Just think of all the potential goodies that could be in there...........Rats, snakes, ants and all that other wonderful stuff along with mold. Mmmm.

No joke, there was actually a snake that rode home with the car in the firewall insulation. I haven't seen him since, so he may have wandered into the woods. He was definitely living off mice in the engine bay, I'm sure there was no shortage!
My cousin picked up the car in the mountains of Virginia, he couldn't believe the snake made it all the way back!

Oh yeah, definitely a possibility in cars that are sitting like this! A customer gave me an Infiniti i30 a month or so ago that I had to dig out of his yard, and I thought for sure that would be the one to have a snake or two in it. Just some wasps!

I finally got the headliner replaced in my 850 sedan, but of course my sunroof headliner trim shattered into many pieces. There's a lot of posts about people breaking these, but was wondering if anyone had a better solution than attempting to glue it back together? I know RobertDIY says you can use a 960 headliner trim with a little trimming, but was looking for something more readily available before I went to the junkyard with a tape measure. So far I know the sunroof lining from a 2007 Ford explorer is too small.
