Two more suggestions for your welding and sealing work:
Use an small, stiff brush to spread and smooth the sealer. An acid brush commonly used for soldering works well.
Use a good smoke/dust mask to keep the welding smoke out of your lungs. A wind or fan at your back helps. If you have trouble holding the tip of the welding rod steady, use half a rod and use a heavy glove on your off side hand to help strady the welding rod.
Wear heavy full coverage shirt, pants and shoes. Weld splatter will burn you! Even the arc flash can give you sun burn.
Use all the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) you can get.

So, amidst looking for an answer to my thread about trailer brake wiring, I remembered that the Volvo wagon has reverse lights. My plan had been originally to use a 4 or 5 way trailer light harness. However, the 7 way needs to be installed in order to get those reverse lights to work. Even though no one asked if my trailer would have reverse lights, the answer is yes. I did not consider reverse lights until yesterday while doing that research.

So my bridge dslr camera broke 6mo or so ago. And a few months ago I sold all my old smartphones. No easily ready cameras for the build. All I've been using for 3 months is my trusty Sonim xp3900 (mobile hotspot, non-5g, the best camera (still a runt) on a flip phone) and 3 Samsung Tab S4.

Today that changed because I bought an open box Motorola Stylus 2025 for $143. It has two rare features in this day and age. The SD card slot and headphone jack. It has a very respectable camera for being a $100-$150 phone. It provides 4k at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps. 120fps slowmo.

I required the next phone to be equal or later than Android 10 (22:42 max recording time previously). It had to have the 4K camera. I always enjoyed buying the older stuff from 2018, 2019, but I didn't want anything too slow, but I didn't want anything past 2020. So yeah, that's a contribution to the build so you guys can clearly see how it's going.

I wanted to buy a Panasonic Lumix FZ2000, Lumix TS99, Lumix G7, or Sony ZV-1 but I didn't want to spend $300 or more.

It's possible just possible that tomorrow I will have some arcing progress to show.

Idea update

The attached picture shows my idea of how I want to paint the trailer. Cypress green all around and white up top.

On another note, I really must get all of my 'big' projects out of the way this week. That entails practicing welding. I've got the entire rear half of the exhaust from where it clamps at the firewall. I will practice on the piping and on the body of the exhaust.

Soooooooooooo. I got about 30min-1hr welding practice in a bit ago. I might watch some more videos, even take an instructional class. Maybe I will save and spend the money needed to hire a pro welder to do it for me. I probably cant afford that though. Going to have to learn..... The amount of energy and focus I used up on that was crazy.

The first 5-10 hours you learn a lot, then it get easier. Find a welder nearby to give you some tips, much faster than google learning

Its a mini stick welder. One of those generic Chinese units.
