Hello. I had my 2007 US spec V70 on jack stands for rear brake work, and the car shifted to where the passenger rear jack stand ended up under the fuel tank. After I got the car down it would not start. No visible leaks but a smell of gas and no fuel pressure. I removed the back seat and found the top of the fuel pump to be cracked.
Replaced fuel pump and the car starts normally, however there is still very strong gas smell.
I believe something else is broken on the top of the fuel tank.
I cannot find any info regarding dropping the fuel tank, so any links or advice appreciated.
This is not an awd car, and I not not have access to a lift.

The P2 platform fuel tank lives above the rear suspension so it’s a big job. VIDA shows it being done on a lift with a lifting table. I’ll,guess it is possible to do it on a level surface using blocks to get the rear end up high, like 24-30 inches.
Sorry about that , tough job.
