Understanding Freeze Frame Data-Help

Post by Hil »

Hi Folks, I ran the freeze frame data and took pictures of the screens because while I saw the DTC of PO420, I could use some help understanding what the rest of it means. The car was at roughly 2500 RPMs when I ran it. Any insight would be appreciated. AS background, both 02 sensors have been replaced as have coil packs, fuel pressure sensor and fuel pump module. I do believe one of my catalytic converters is malfunctioning ( not plugged) but not sure which. The car is a 2005 S40i and I cannot get it in to a shop anywhere for weeks to have them check it out.

Code P0420 is “Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 1).”
"This code indicates that your car’s computer has detected under performance from the Bank 1 catalytic converter."
Does your code reader support live data? Can you get an infrared no-contact thermometer sensor?
This guy gives a short tutorial on how to check your catalytic converter(s), www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VZ5K8n5jj0
