OE Volvo vs HD subframe bushings?

Post by BlackBart »

I think I'll bag the subframe bushing inserts I bought and just replace the bushings themselves. ('04 XC70 130k miles)
I checked the Ipd weekend sale and I see the OE stock bushing at $23 ea ($20 at FCP), and an HD OE bushing for $34 ea. It says factory / OE, so I wondered why we didn't get that one. I see some fine print that it's for the XC90 and has harder rubber.

Any opinions on which to install?

Go with the ones that were engineered for your vehicle. This is not a part that you want the heavy duty version of.
