Missing driver's side front door speaker

My car didn't come with all of the speakers. The main front driver's door speaker is missing. There's also no rear deck speakers, which I'm not sure was on all cars or was an option.

How do I tell what factory speaker I need for my door? Would upgrading to aftermarket speakers be a better option? (The front passenger speaker crackles a lot, too.)
