2011 XC70 Wind Deflector Detached (pictures)

Post by hopkinss »

Recently a small rubber piece came out of the sunroof on my wife's 2011 XC70 and now the mesh wind deflector has detached on the bottom. I can't find any pictures of how to reattach this. Can someone provide a picture of how it should be attached or give some advice on how to fix this? See the pictures I have included with the small part that came out and the wind deflector.

Thanks for your help.

I figured out that the rubber stopper block attaches in the center hole. I probably need a new one as this one is not pliable enough to re insert. Can someone send a picture of how your sunroof wind deflector is attached so that I can reattach mine. I don't see these fabric wind deflectors shown in any parts diagrams, have they been replaced by a different part now?

Thanks again for any help that you can provide.

Be careful with that part. It looks like it may not be available without buying the whole frame kit https://volvo.oempartsonline.com/oem-pa ... Byb2R1Y3Rz

Thanks so much, I was looking for an image of how the bottom of the wind deflector connects to the inside of the roof, but I'll keep trying to figure it out. Maybe I can find someone local who will let me take a look at their sunroof. I appreciate the response!
