I may have asked this awhile back but please humor me. I saw a YouTube video on removing the old fuel filter on my '02 V70 and it looked like the guy in the video just squeezed or pinched each end of the old filter with his fingers to release the lines.
Is this the case? No special fuel filter pliers?

I just pinched it. I think using a tool to remove is preferred, less chance of breaking a clip. But mine released fine. Same as the rigid line on my fuel rail.
