97 850 GLT E85 questions

Wondering if while doing upgrades such as turbo and turbo manifold ecu tune and different injectors if running e85 tune could be an option.

Yes, I run E85 on mine.
If you get a tune from Vast (the best M4.4 mapper you can find) you have the option to get two maps, one for gasoline and one for E85. You can switch them "on the fly", afaik he's the only one that does this.

Just remember that E85 needs more volume (about 30%) for a given amount of energy, so you might need bigger injectors/fuel pump. Obviously range on a full tank will drop.
I'd also recommend changing fuel filters once or twice after you start using E85, it's pretty good at getting crud unstuck from the tank.

One thing to be VERY careful about is E85 damages fuel hoses of the rubber kind! Make sure any rubber sections of hose are compatible.
