78mm Gen-2 Bearing Tool Variants? Buy, Rent ?

Post by MicroMart »

Hello All,

Thank you in advance for any responses to this post....

From experience, what is the best Gen-2 78mm tool to remove and replace the front bearings on a 2009 V50 1.6

Note: Bearings have wheel nut studs (Male) not threaded holes....

Searching the forums and outlets, there are many variations in both quality and cost from poor to expensive....

Options

1) Buy recommended tool (New or Used), use it then keep or sell and possibly rent to help others...
2) Rent a tool off another person or rental outlet, if any. (Location: Lancashire UK)

Cheers

Martin

Ended up buying the laser tool.
Best tool for the job.
Changed the bearings with ease.
Quality tool, peace of mind.
Expensive, but worth it
