I have a 2011 XC70 with 170K on it. It had a broken rear spring, I replaced both rear springs, including the upper and lower mounts. Shortly after this job, the car developed a squeak in the RR suspension when the car goes up/down. Just getting in the car makes it squeak. I replaced both rear shock and sway bar end links. I torqued the bolts with the car on the ground. Same thing.
The really strange part. Every time the car is jacked up, the noise goes away for several days. Dead quite, but returns same as before. Any ideas?
The rest of the suspension parts are original. The bushings looked ok and I can see anything rubbing. The noise seems to be coming from the LCA area.
Thanks!

Can you have someone get in/out while you poke around down there? Maybe use a mechanic's stethoscope?
