Looking at a 2002 V70 XC Turbo AWD with 139,000 miles on it.
What I know (major stuff):
-Computer module replaced (500 mi.)
-Engine & turbo serviced (71,000 mi.)
-Axle(s?) Replaced (81,000 mi. by dealer)
-Belt replaced (95,000 mi.)
-Trans fluid flushed (109,000 mi.)
-120,000 mi. Service completed
-Axle(s?) Replaced (139,000 mi. by dealer)
Has regular oil changes and is in really good shape for a 2002. Also other scheduled maintenances seemed to be performed as well. No scratches or scrapes and very few chips in paint only 1 I saw with a quick glance.
What do you guys think? Price is high trying to work them down to $6,000. We have owned a few Volvo's over the years but never outside of warenty just looking for a third family vehicle. Are 2002's worth considering? I have known a few people years ago that had them when I was young but no first hand experience.
Thanks for all comments.
