2004 xc90 12v sockets, radio, passenger power seat stopped working

Post by mikkowus »

I have a 2004 Volvo xc90 2.5t. the Radio, passenger power seat and 12v sockets stopped working. In the past I believe the issue was water getting into the relays under the steering wheel. I can't seem to find a diagram telling me what relays to look at. I did check the #11 fuse just inside the driver's door and it looked fine. Does anyone know what relays and connections under the dash I should check?
This is what my relay compartment looks like

I found the solution
Sean87wk wrote: 17 Mar 2019, 22:34 I recently started experiencing this problem as well in my 2004 XC90. Today I verified that there was no power coming to fuses 10,11 in the passenger fuse box. I traced the larger gauge purple wire coming out of the back of fuse 11 to relay CMA2 in the passenger compartment under the dash. I replaced it with a good relay and voila! the passenger power seat and 12V sockets worked! I was totally prepared to remove the CEM and send it out to be repaired so I'm glad I tried this first.
I am going to order relay part number 9441158
