Handbrake only works backwards

Hij all,

I am Mark from the Nederlands and the owner of a Volvo 940 1992.
It didnt pass mot because of a malfunctioning handbrake.
I replaced the inner brakeshoes on both sides.
Npw the handbrake doesnt work moving forward, but works OK when moving backwards.
What have i done wrong?

Do you have information to properly adjust the brake shoes? The parts above are used to make this adjustment, but it must be done correctly.

Thanks for your reply.
I think i need tot set it so the brakeshoe touch the drum, and then one klick back?
