For anyone who might pull a P0442 code for "Fuel Evap Leak", I have my P2 at the mechanic today since I was too cheap to buy a smoke machine. They told me that my issue is what they called a "J Hose" that connects to the charcoal canister. It is torn/cracked in 4 places.
They said they have to drop the exhaust after up on a lift to access it. They also said that the previous owner did a mickey mouse job as the "J hose" is presently not a volvo part but some aftermarket thing. The mechanic also said these particular hoses apparently break a lot.
