Haldex lock-up function?

Haldex lock-up function?

Has anyone tried to wire a switch, or somesuch hackery, to force the Haldex unit to full engagement, on one of these?

This would be to reduce the risk of digging in, when on soft sugary ever-shifting sand. Real 4WD would be better, of course, but I don't want to have to live with a Jeep the rest of the time.

I'd be curious of this too...just picked up an 05 XC90 2.5T and was surprised there was no AWD lock button on the dash.
