Wondering if anyone can help me with a problem I'm currently experiencing with my 2010 volvo c30.
The problem is intermittent and happens when I'm driving. My radio will start to flicker and then I will receive a warning message on the dash saying el current high stop safely, along with a red warning triangle and usually my airbag light comes on. When switching the car off and leaving for about 5 mins the message clears but eventually returns.
I have taken it to the garage but the car has been sat for a few days before taking and doesn't seem to play up on the way. When they have a look, they can't fund any fault codes, have replaced my battery as it wasn't in brilliant health and checked the voltage to from my alternator and all seems fuse and they can't find an issue with the car.
Any help would be much appreciated

Do you have a sunroof? And if so, have you noticed moisture on the floors? If so, you'll want to remove the electrical panel under the glovebox, known as the CEM, and get it nice and dry. I recently did this, myself, as my 2010 C30 started doing all sorts of weird electrical stuff. There's plenty of info to be found on the web about how to do it, and it's not too bad of a job. Suggest you take pictures of it with everything plugged in before removing it, though.
Unfortunately, if this fixes your electrical woes, the next step is to get to the root of the problem, the sunroof drains. They may be disconnected above the headliner or at the base of the A-pillars, or they may just be clogged up. Again, plenty of info to be found online about how to take care of this.
Best of luck!
