Heater blower problem

The heater blower motor is operating erratically. It works at high speed and intermittently at lower speeds. It appears that the blower fan resistor is failing. My questions are where is the resistor located in a 2016 XC90 Momentum? Any major problems to change the blower resistor module? Thanks in advance for any insight.

Did you ever get this information / locate the resistor? I have seen videos of it near the accelerator pedal, but those are first generation models. I have also seen references to it being behind the glove box.
