Continued with some maintenance on my 05 XC70. Replaced the right engine mount and the torque rod mount. Also figured it would be a good time to replace the fuel filter. Rust everywhere made all these more difficult.

My 05 XC90s fuel filter looked similar when I changed it a couple months ago, pretty certain it was original. Really appreciate how easy the Volvo engineers made changing that out (even a schraeder valve to bleed pressure off!), a quick job. Certain I picked up some power on my S60 when I did it.

It would have been simple but there was so much rust I had to use a pair of needle nose pliers with bent ends to push the tabs in and a small pry bar to push it out. It took 30 minutes it was crazy. I cleaned the connector from rust particles and fixed the tabs and everything is great now.
