1997 V90 rear jack / lift points

Post by brownrock »

Greetings
I'm about to do some work on the back end of my 1997 V90.
Specifically I'm going to put new rotors, pads, brake lines (incl flush) and clean the calipers as needed.
I'm going to use a jack to lift the car.
I want to put an 8x8x8" wood block somewhere under the rear axle for additional support and as a back up in case the jack were to fail.
I've attached a pic of a place that looks good to me.
Would much appreciate thoughts or comments on the subject such as:
This is a good place OR no not there!
I've consulted various lift point diagrams (maintenance manual etc) but they all seem to be for the sedan not the wagon
Many thanks
