Just got 2 FOB’s programmed remotely by Total Auto Tech

I just had two new full FOB’s programmed for my 2005 Volvo XC70 by Total Auto Tech. I purchased the two remotes off eBay extra-partss1 for $53.95. I had the two blades cut locally for $80 and Total Auto Tech remoted in to my computer which was hooked up to my XC via my DICE unit. They did a great job and I would highly recommend that anyone that needs remote services to give them a call! They charged me $120. They also deleted my missing keys. I now have three keys w/ FOB’s all for $253.95 and a ton of “piece of mind”. I’ve included some pictures of the eBay posting and my DICE configuration for your reference. The eBay keys are high quality and have the same weight and feel of my original Volvo key. Also, Total Auto doesn’t use your Vida software, they remote in with their software and use your DICE to communicate with your Volvo to get the job done. I’m so happy to get this off my list of things that was bugging me. I’m going to cross post this on Swedespeed.

Yes they are! I would definitely be giving them a call for any module repair or cloning services as well. Oh and the difference between me getting one or two FOB’s done is $62. The remotes I bought were $53.95 for 2 and $31.95 for 1 ($22) and to have 1 key cut was $40. So, $191.95 for 1 FOB, $253.95 for 2. Just FYI.

I just did a valet spare (not FOB) at the local dealer for our 05 XC90…~$350.
