V60(2015) Driver door not locked

Hi everyone,

This is my first post here and thus I am new here.
I have the following problem which I noticed yesterday for the first time.

I Lock the door with the remote key, this give the click sound and folds the mirrors.
now the driver door is not locked and all the other doors are closed.
do you think this is an actuator issue?
I also read about a door sensor, but I assume that is not the issue as the dashboard is not seeing the door open when driving.
unlocking gives the same result as click and unfolding the mirrors.

I found this problem by accident, pulling the door handle when the car was locked, opening the driver door.

Hi and welcome to the forums.
Could be a bad/failing actuator, these are known to fail.

What is the status LED showing (e.g. flashing 'locked' or not? Also, if you have the PCC (personal car communicator) fob, you can remotely interrogate the locked status by pressing the 'i" button. Green = LOCKED, Amber = UNLOCKED

I would talk to the car with VIDA.

Hi Regent,

Thanks voor your response, I do not have the PCC option on my car, at least I do not have that type of key, I have the 5 button key without LED's on it. (this PCC looks a very nice addition but would cost allot to add to my car I guess)
i noticed that I kdo not hav 100% loss of locking the door. sometimes it does lock and other times it does't. I did change the "My V60" settings to only opening driver door when unlocking.

I am not giving up and will do some more approaches/tests.
