s60/v/xc70 to s80 center console swap possible?

I am going on Monday to test drive and possible buy an xc70 to replace the Rotten Tomato. Who around here has tried to swap the original s60/v70 center console for an s80 type? I do like the xc70 console (same thing i had in my 01 v base) but I have a great idea in mind with the s80 console.

Hi - what model years are you looking at? I have an '04 XC70 and am looking to do a center console/armrest swap myself - I'm doing some research now but haven't started. If we are working on the same P2 platform, perhaps we can help each other through our findings.
