AS I am having SOO much 'fun' with the R dash which has self destructed, I decided to fully disassemble the lower dash which I have to say I didn't know could be done. This is what I ended up as well as a pile of broken small pits of plastic:
The wiring harness comes out as a complete unit for the whole dash. That is handy!
The other thing I learned is the section which has the mounting points on it is the long piece along the top of the parts pile. I will probably keep this and repair it as a future potential spare. Most of the other breakages are the 2 end section mounts and the hoop over the speedo cluster.
If anyone needs any more detailed shots let me know before I junk any of it.
