Dobly processor install - 2000 V70

Post by scot850 »

I am going to try to install the processor tomorrow. I see it needs 2 bolts and a Torx screw, none of which came with the unit I bought on line. Chances are I will have something for those.

My question is this. The Torx screw locates the upper side of the LH side part of the bracket onto the outside of the heating system. Are there pre-drilled bolt holes under the transmission tunnel covering foam or do you have to drill your own and use self threading bolts?

I plan to install these even if I don't fit the dash pad and speaker as I have discovered the guy who sold the dash pad to me has cold me a pup! One of the end mounting screw locators is broken off and the center piece where the air vents sit has broken the plastic welds. I don't have time to fix it now so will have to stick the original pad back on.

Any guidance is appreciated! :D
