Greetings everyone,
I am about to begin the process of removing a leaky rack that is an SMI rack (plate code=5, octagon shape on bottom of where the lines connection to the rack), but noticed the tie rods are clearly marked TRW.
Should I remove these tie rods and replace them with SMI tie rods? What really is the difference between these?
Appreciate your help!

It’s confusing , isn’t it?
Rack
Inner tie rod
Outer tie rods
Both SmI and TRw make racks for P80s. You have buy correct inner tie rods for the rack in question. The outer tie rods are the same

This is the rack on "Millie" - I am guessing the inner and outer tie rods are good?
Millie needs a newer/non-leaking rack!

If they say TRW they have been replaced. I would guess they have under 100k on them
