Install cruise control on V50 2005 1.6D

Hello!

I got an old V50 2005 1.6D and I want to install the cruise controls on it. I contacted Volvo in Italy and they verified it is possible. The cost would be 445.- EU. I am looking to install this myself or/and with the help of other professionals. The parts in question are (31330187, 30737160, see also: https://accessories.volvocars.com/it-it ... .6D/Manual).

The controls for the cruise control (used) or the complete steering wheel with the cruise controls, cost between 40.- to 100.- EU. I understand that there is some software work to do, however. This should be using VIDA to (re)configure the installation, I guess. Can I do this myself? Or indeed it is better to pay a professional to get this right?
