2006 volvo s60 replaced ignition cylinder 30 min

I did a cylinder replacement once before took me a while.

So used a screw driver to make a groove took forever.

Went to homedepot and pick up a small cold chisel this time. Picture above. Bingo one hit loosened both of them.

Got a coded cylinder put it in no problem.
The new one comes with a plastic tap for the trans cable. Just make sure u use the dummy key and turn it on to remove. Also need to turn the key also to remove cable and insert.

also went to hardware store picked up to screws with an allen key to tighten.
