2001 S40 Wiring Diagram Trunk Lid Lock Actuator

Post by solsd »

The actuator for the trunk lid lock stopped working. I tested the actuator, and it is good. The wiring from the actuator to the next connection at the left rear of the trunk is good. Connecting one lead of a voltmeter to each of the actuator wiring contacts in the mating connector in the left rear of the trunk, one at a time, with the other lead to ground, shows a pulse of voltage on one of the contacts, when the remote is used to lock/unlock the car, but no voltage pulse on the other contact. Where do I next check for an open connection for the no-voltage wire? Is there a fuse that may be blown that could affect this? All other lock/unlock functions (doors) work.
