I just spent 3 hours with a college friend and we had a great time talking, walking around, and grabbing lunch. I just got home now and it hit me like a ton of bricks: I’m very thankful for today, and him. It’s a good day.
I’m also very very thankful for my son, who is a wonderful young man.

I’m blessed far beyond what I deserve. Gotten to a point in life I see how broken the world is, and how much pain is in the world. So many struggle each day, many in situations they don’t have control over. And some overcome those challenges with joy over this one thing—Thankfulness.

I got a good education that did not cost me a lot. My parents taught me to work hard. Together these kept me working as a engineer in the same small town for nearly 40 years.
