Emissions Purge canister valve questions?

Post by scot850 »

I have 2 different purge canister valves that were from a 98 V70 base model with the plastic rectangular carbon canister under the front LH fender. Looking at Volvo Dealer parts sited it claims these fit models beyond the 98 MY, which does not make sense as the carbon can was moved to the rear in 99 if I recall.

Part number is : 9135805

The purge solenoid valve that fits to the LHS of the radiator:

Part number is:9135444

https://www.volvopartswebstore.com/prod ... 35444.html

This one at least I believe is used on most P80's from 850 to 2004 C70.

Help clarifying is appreciated.

Neil.
