HU-613 Radio anomalies
For several years my HU-613 occasionally has a mind of it's own; randomly changing its input from AM to CD player to FM etc. Also the volume knob doesn't really work. Most of the times turning the knob clockwise will yield a non linear increase in volume.....or a decrease, or nothing at all. Ive gotten in the habit of using the steering wheel volume control. Does anyone else have a similar experience with this radio? Is there an effective fix for this besides sending it to Zemodex? Also, would a HU-613 from another car require cloning to my specific VIN? Thanks in advance.

I don't believe there is any security code as on the pre-2000 car radios. PnP and pull one and swap over.

Exact same issues on both of my HU-613's. Swapped to aftermarket radios, need bluetooth and a USB port these days.

Much of my time during the job is spent hauling things up and down the stairs to the basement or in and out of the storage shed, or running back downstairs when I realize I need something else,or taking a break from standing out in the sun,or using flashlights or work lamps when it gets dark.
