Greetings everyone!
While looking for some decent alloy rims for my T5, I found a set of BMW alloy rims - 12 spoke - on a 3 series 2011 BMW with 205 55R16 tires.
The tires are what is recommended for the V70 that I have.
But, just wondering if the rims would fit as well or if there would need to be adjustments made to them??
The closest info I could find on the rims are that they were on BMW 3 series E90 or E91 vehicles, 16" mutli-spoke 282 rims, not sure what the following numbers represent:
Et: 31 7j 6783628. Offset is 31.
For what it's worth, I think this is the VIN: WBAPK5C59BA657757 located under the hood near the strut assembly.

The standard offset for a P80 rim is 43mm. These are 31mm so will sit 12mm (approx 1/2") further out.
The biggest issue is the hole pitch for the lug bolts/studs. P80 and P2 are 5 x 108mm. 2011 3 series are 5 x 120mm
So unfortunately the lug bolt hole pitch will not work.
The center bore you also need is 65.1mm, BMW is 72.6mm.
So to make these work even if you can get the lug bolt pitch sorted somehow, you would need spacers to reduce the center bore from 72.6 to 65.1mm.
The cost of making those fit would be expensive. Better looking out for Volvo rims from a P80 or P2. Again some smaller diameter P2 rims (15/16") can have 43mm offset and same center bore. Watch for larger diameters and offset of 49mm as they can rub on inner fenders and parking brake cables at the rear.
