Is castrol transmax transmission fluid ok to use?

I have a 2002 V70XC with the AW55-50 transmission. The transmission fluid is pretty dark, and im not sure when it has been changed. Is if fine if I do a drain and refill with Castrol Transmax Import Multi-Vehicle Automatic Transmission Fluid? According to their specifications it is reccomended for all volvos and meets the JWS-3309 and Toyota T-IV specs.

Go to Amazon and get Mobil 3309. For these transmissions consensus is don't stray too far from the originals, which would be Mobil 3309, Toyota Type IV, Idemitsu TLS (not TLS LV), or the Volvo fluid.

I’ve used Valvoline Maxlife ATF back when it was$17/gal, now at $25/gal I’d go with Mobil 3309 or others. Price difference doesn’t justify using something other than 3309.
