1994 Volvo 850 Vacuum Tree Issue

Post by CFL850T »

Hello!

I scored a a 1994 850 turbo for a pretty fantastic price about two weeks ago. The man who sold it to me said that he was unsure about some of the vacuum lines after he replaced the PCV system. There are two lines that I've found unplugged when switching out some old lines to newer silicon. I have recorded a short video showing where they are. Anybody know where these lines go?

Thanks in advance.

Fixed! One was leading to the cruise control pump, which needed to be left unplugged and the other went to the vacuum tree and was the boost gauge line. Cheers!

Why would the cruise control line need to be left unplugged?

The cruise control pump has two vacuum outlets. Supposedly one goes to the cabin and the other is left open. Not sure why but that seems to be what I could find.
