2003 s40 so sad
I was going to replace the fuel pressure regulator in order to get the startup to work smoothly without having to crank it two times. Then I noticed shavings, then I noticed they were rubber shavings from the serpentine belt, then I noticed all the oil everywhere on that side of the engine. The dipstick appears to be quite void of oil. I suspect something's blown, like a seal perhaps.? No oil dripping on the ground as if from the oil pan. The timing belt seems fine. just wondering what kind of pain I'm in for, depending on if I try to fix this myself or pay someone, though at this point I'm not sure what it is. Thoughts?
