09 S60 AWD Seat, Carpet Removal & SRS

Post by MoVolvos »

.
What is the proper order of things for front seats removal so the SRS is not triggered?

Battery disconnect first then connect again after seat is removed and reinstalled?
Leave battery alone?
Other?
.

According to this video the battery should be removed before unplugging the seats electrical. Hope it's correct, will see!

I have pulled the front seats on my V70, V70R, C30 and XC60 and always disconnect the battery first, never had a problem after putting the seat back in and reconnecting the battery.
