I've been searching in vain to find a thread that addresses the issue I am having. It all started when I was experiencing problems with my Immobilizer. It seemed nothing I did would fix the issue and after swapping the ring antenna and fuel pump relay just for good measure, I was still having the intermittent engine dying after start. I decided to use some Stabilant 22A on the electrical connections and that didn't seem to help either. I figured maybe I should use the Stabilant on the ECU just to see if it my help and after reinastalling the ECU, I had the ETS light come on and the engine would race at startup. Once running, it idles just fine and does not show any of the classic ETM failure symptoms. The car drives, but it does seem that it is in a bit of a limp mode. Frankly, it's been awhile since this problem started and the car has just been sitting for my lack of motivation to fix it. I recently pulled the ECU again just to make sure I didn't bend or break a pin and it all looks fine. I don't know if the the immobilizer and ETS issues are related, just coincidence, or caused by me. I have a DICE unit, but I don't have VIDA running on a machine yet, so I'm probably going to buy the bootable flash drive VIDA setup and start delving in to the codes. In the meantime, do any of these symptoms ring a bell to anyone? I have the ETM rebuild kit if that needs to be done, but I don't think it is necessarily the problem. The ETM in the car is a white label with P/N 36050563 and what appears to possibly be a date code of 24 2019. It is made not in Sweden, not Italy and is not marked Marnelli or whatever that brand is. I bought the car towards the end of 2020 and it was serviced by the dealer since new.
Any thoughts of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

OK, more info. I renewed my Volvo subscription for my Autel AP200. I got the following codes. Seems the 2001 and 2004 use the same accelerator pedal assembly, so I will pull the pedal from the 04 parts car when I get a chance and put it into the 01. I may have just answered my own question. If I erase the codes, the engine stumbles and they come back immediately.
